It’s Just Another Manic Monday

Ahhh, Mondays. With Mondays come the promise of over-committed calendars and unrealistic to-do lists. An entire workweek of battles over sandwiches vs. corndogs and headbands vs. ponytails (I know, I really need to pick my battles on this one).
Five full days lie ahead as lunch-packer, taxi-driver, barbie picker-uper, homework-supervisor, little-league cheerer on-er… and the list goes on … all while trying to fit in an occasional hot meal for the family and stick to some sort of appropriate bedtime.
Well I say, why not “celebrate” the mishaps of motherhood, start the week by finding the humor in it all and start looking at the glass as half full … until the kids knock it over, that is.

I like the Octuplet joke but hate the idea that we’re helping pay for that Peanut Butter and Jelly!

OMGosh that one about “I’ll do anyone who walks in with dinner is the best!” I would print that out and frame it but the kids would ask too many questions. Dam I love that. I also love the “Mommys going to the store for drinks I mean groceries. How many times have I said that! Love it! New follower and I am in love with you!

I think your post is funnier than mine. I had to be careful not to ruffle any feathers because I was writing it from a teacher’s perspective. Yours was more from a playground perspective. I could relate to it so well. I think I was the OCD momma. You definitely had more momma types than I did. It was hilarious. I loved it!
